Dive sites are easily accessible by boat, with a majority of sites located 5 to 10 minutes away from our Shop on the North West side of the Island.

How long does a PADI IDC Course take?

14 Days

Your PADI IDC in Roatan will takes 14 days and you can expect to be at the dive shop 7 days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Our PADI IDC & EFRI Program includes:

  • 3 Days of IDC Preparation (optional)

  • 12 Days intensive Instructor Development Course including 1 Nitrox Instructor Specialty

  • 2 Days for Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRi) Course

After completing your IDC, you will need to take the two-day PADI Instructor Exam (IE).

We do not offer IDCs during the high season (December to March) as our dive shop is at its busiest, limiting our ability to accommodate individual needs. To ensure the highest quality training, we maintain small groups, allowing for personalized attention for every candidate.

The PADI Divemaster Course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities and you will learn:

Who can do the PADI IDC?

To start you PADI IDC you must be:

  • 18 Years or Older (15 Years for Junior Divemaster)

  • Emergency First Aid and CPR Certification within 24 Months

  • Divemaster Certified

  • Minimum of 100 Logged Dives
