Designated as a Marine Protected Area, our backyard is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world! The diverse marine ecosystem includes both hard and soft corals, endangered sea turtles, eagle rays, sea slugs, sharks, dolphins, and so much more. Dive sites are easily accessible by boat, with a majority of sites located 5 to 10 minutes away from our Shop on the North West side of the Island.
How long does a Divemaster Course take?
6-8 WEEKS
Your Divemaster Course in Roatan will takes 6 to 8 weeks and you can expect to be at the dive shop 6 days per week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You also have the option to split this in a couple of trips to Roatan.

Who can do the Divemaster Course?
To start you Divemaster Course you must be:
18 Years or Older (15 Years for Junior Divemaster)
Emergency First Aid and CPR Certification within 24 Months
Rescue Diver Certified
Minimum of 40 Logged Dives

After you complete your training and receive your Divemaster Certification, you’ll put everything in practice during your Divemaster Internship. We differ from other dive shops that put their interns in a “slave labour” type situation.
