How long does it take?
2 DAYS
This is a 2 days course that is divided into 2 parts:
Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation.
Open Water Dives: after you will get on board one of our boats to do 3 open water dives with your instructor.

What will I learn?
During your PADI UW Navigator Specialty you will learn how to:
Navigation Patterns: learning how to navigate using natural references and by following specific navigation patterns.
Compass Skills: mastering the use of a compass underwater, including reciprocal headings and estimating distance underwater.
Distance Measurement: understanding different methods to measure distance underwater, such as using kick cycles, time, or visual references.
Underwater Maps: developing skills to create and follow maps of underwater terrains.

YES! We will dedicate an instructor exclusive for your course and the maximum size of the group is 6 people.

You learned the basics in your PADI Open Water Diver Course, but the best way to really nail navigation skills is in the PADI UW Navigator Specialty. With this course you will:
Save time and air because you get where you're going via the most efficient route
Avoid long surface swims because you find your way to and from the boat or entry/exit point entirely underwater.

To complete your Navigator Specialty you need to do 3 open water dives.

Minimum 10 years old
Be an Open Water Diver from any dive organization
Medical Form: You need to fill out a medical questionnaire. With any “Yes” response you will need a medical clearance for diving. You can acquire this at home or here on the Island at least one day prior to your dive. Ask us for the form!
