PADI Drift Specialty
Diving in a current can feel like flying underwater!
In the PADI Drift Diver course, you’ll learn drift diving tips from an experienced instructor and practice buoyancy control, navigation, use of surface signaling equipment and buddy communication.
The PADI Drift Specialty will also count towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
How long does it take?
1 DAY
This is a 1 day course that is divided into 2 parts:
Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation.
Open Water Dives: after you will get on board one of our boats to do 2 open water dives with your instructor.
Link the Nitrox Specialty with your Drift Specialty and receive a special discount!

Available for ages 12 and up, it's the perfect option for advanced divers.
Become an Elite Diver! With this course you will be one step closer to the Master Scuba Diver, the highest recreational diving level.

YES! We will dedicate an instructor exclusive for your course and the maximum size of the group is 6 people.

With the Drift Specialty you will:
Try drift diving with an instructor
Feel confident diving in a current
Learn about aquatic currents - causes and effects

To complete your Drift Specialty you need to do 2 open water dives, but if you did the Drift Adventure during your Advanced Open Water Course you can receive the credit for one dive and you only need to complete 1 more.

Minimum 12 years old
Be an Open Water Diver from any dive organization
Medical Form: You need to fill out a medical questionnaire. With any “Yes” response you will need a medical clearance for diving. You can acquire this at home or here on the Island at least one day prior to your dive. Ask us for the form!
