PADI Self Reliant Specialty

The focus of the Self Reliant Specialty is not the solo dive!

This Self Reliant Specialty will give you the ability and knowledge to plan for and respond to emergencies independently, without assistance, whether diving alone or with a buddy

The PADI Self Reliant Specialty will also count towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

2 DAYS

This is a 2-day course that is divided into 2 parts:

• Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation.

• Open Water Dives: after you will get on board one of our boats to do 3 open water dives with your instructor.

What will I learn?

During your PADI Self Reliant Specialty you will learn how to:

• Respond to emergency situations regardless of whether you have partner assistance or not

• The importance and need for redundant equipment

• Plan dives and gas management techniques

Who can do it?

Available for ages 18 and up, it's the perfect option for advanced divers.

We highly recommend this course to any dive professional. 

Is also ideal for photographers and videographers, who often pay attention to the environment, but not to their dive buddy, or traveling divers that doesn’t have a buddy and may end up with a dive buddy they have not met.
