We at Roatan Divers pride ourselves on evolving all the time, constantly looking for ways to improve our company's service and quality. And with that approach, of course, comes the time that our fleet needs to change to match the company and our needs as well. For next high season, we determined that we need a bigger boat, so we started building the newest RD boat, Saga. We don't need three boats in our fleet right now, so one boat has to go to let Saga in, and that boat ended up being Manami.
The new boat, Saga, will be an incredibly sweet ride at 37 by 10 feet, with the ability to take up to 15 people comfortably on even a two-tank trip. As with all of our boats, she has been custom designed and built with speed and diver comfort in mind. Our goal is not to increase our capacity, but to increase the space afforded to each guest on our boats to ensure that you feel comfortable and well-taken cared of at all times. So as Manami goes, another upgrade takes her place.
Today was Manami's last day with Roatan Divers, and we have mixed emotions. The arrival of Manami in our first season was what really made us feel like we had finally made it as a dive center, and having to let her go is bittersweet. She's leaving so we can continue evolving, but if we could keep her, we would. There's no boat on Roatan that can turn on a dime like Manami can, and our captains Victor and Kevin have had a ball driving her.
Thanks for taking us so far, Manami. You are one helluva boat, we couldn't have asked for a better one to start Roatan Divers with. We've retained visitation rights, so we'll see you next week.
