Not a certified Nitrox diver yet? No problem, it’s easy and fast to learn! In a day you can become a PADI Enriched Air Diver and continue your diving adventures on EANx32! 

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air, which means that you will absorb less nitrogen and extend your bottom time!

HALBER TAG

This is a half day course that is divided into 2 parts:

  • Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation. We will send you your PADI E-Learning Material ahead of time.

  • Practical Application: after with your instructor you will learn how to analyze a tank, fill out an enriched air log, and set your dive computer for Nitrox.

This course will allow you to obtain Nitrox tanks up to 40%.

During your PADI Nitrox Specialty Course you will learn how to:

  • Dive with nitrox

  • Use an oxygen air analyzer

  • Set your dive computer

To ensure your safety while diving with Nitrox, we require that you have your own dive computer. If you do not have one, you may rent a computer from us for just $5 per dive. A dive computer is essential for tracking your personal No-Decompression Limit (NDL) and managing your dive profile effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions about the PADI Nitrox Specialty

  • JA! Wir stellen Ihnen einen Kursleiter zur Verfügung, der ausschließlich für Ihren Kurs zuständig ist, und die maximale Gruppengröße beträgt 6 Personen.

  • As a Nitrox Diver you will:

    • Get nitrox air fills

    • Extend your bottom time

    • Enjoy shorter surface intervals

  • NO! Nitrox changes the way you plan your dives and check your tank, but doesn’t change the procedures underwater. Because of that the specialty do not include dives.

    You will have 2 free nitrox tanks to use with your dive package with Roatan Divers.

    • Mindestalter: 12 Jahre

    • Seien Sie Open-Water-Taucher bei einer beliebigen Tauchorganisation

    • Gesundheitsfragebogen: Sie müssen einen medizinischen Fragebogen ausfüllen. Bei jeder Antwort mit „Ja“ benötigen Sie eine ärztliche Tauchtauglichkeitsbescheinigung.
