Has it already been a year?
Turns out, it has! The Roatan Humane Society, a grassroots, non-profit animal welfare organization on Roatan, will be having their third Annual Fur Ball on January 28th, 2017 in support of the organization's work for animals on the island. This event has once again been generously hosted by Infinity Bay Resort and should be a fabulous evening for everyone.
Honduras has only recently criminalized animal abuse, and is taking small steps towards becoming a safer environment for street animals and pets alike. The Roatan Humane Society works tirelessly to provide veterinary services and humane overpopulation solutions for disadvantaged communities on the island, and speaks loudly to be a stronger voice for the animals of Roatan.
The event starts at 7PM with nibbles, drinks and buffet, and the auction will start at 8PM. We have donated two 5-dive packages for the auction and are looking forward to seeing what other fun auction items there will be!
Tickets are available for $50 from different locations around Roatan, including JavaVine and Blue Bahia, or $60 at the door. We're looking forward to seeing all of you there!
