Johnny was previously here diving with us in April when he did his Underwater Naturalist Specialty. We were happy to have him back again on a visit from mainland Honduras where he works. This trip it was the Night Dive Specialty that caught his interest first. For this course we went on three night dives where we focus on really getting comfortable whilst diving at night and navigating underwater at night, which is fun, but challenging! Since Johnny's goal is to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver, he needs a total of 5 specialties.
For his third specialty, he decided on the Enriched Air Nitrox course. This course primarily takes place in the classroom where we teach you the fundamentals and benefits of Nitrox. After we cover the theory, we also teach you how to analyze tanks that are filled with Nitrox and make sure you know how to adjust your dive computer when diving on Nitrox. Included in this course, are two Nitrox dives which Johnny did to El Aguila and Canyon Reef.
That was all the time we had for this trip to Roatan, but Johnny plans to come back soon and has already expressed an interest in doing his Wreck Specialty! Well done Johnny and we look forward to having you back here soon!
