Zach is a 3-time repeater with us. After completing his PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty and Deep Diver specialty with us last time, he wanted to continue his scuba education and go for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest recreational rating in PADI. To become certified as a PADI Master Scuba Diver, you need minimum 50 dives, 5 specialties and the PADI Rescue Diver certification. Zach already had well over 50 dives and 3 specialties, so he only had three more courses to complete before he could become a Master Scuba Diver!
Zach only had a week on the island and a lot to accomplish, so he completed his First Aid & CPR training at home and his theory work for his Rescue Diver course with eLearning prior to arrival. He was great in his confined water skills and learned a lot on his open water dives, and his Rescue Diver course went off without a hitch! For his two remaining specialties, he chose Night Diver and Digital Underwater Photography, both great specialties that teach you a lot and expand your skillset as a diver.
We're so proud of Zach, he truly earned his Master Scuba Diver rating and we can't wait to see where he goes next! Great job, Zach!
